Move slowly and gradually to avoid stuck in tendency of these files. Slow back and forth motion will reduce the vertical height of bone interproximally. Once the interproximal area gets larger, then motion in & out motion can be increase for a safe reduction. These files have two cutting side with a flat side. Flat side protect the teeth to get damage form sides.
