While decaf is never as flavorful as caffeinated tea, the flavor of this decaf black tea is surprisingly rich. I would say it’s flavor is a milder version of an Irish Breakfast Tea. If I were to hazard a guess, I would say this blend is probably predominantly assam. It’s a great replacement for any breakfast tea for someone who might want to watch their caffeine intake, and has quickly become my go-to black tea – I keep half in my kitchen cupboard, and the other half at the office! The leaves retain enough flavor to easily steep two cups.
